A Saturday kitchen fire caused massive damage to a home in the 2400 block of Lloyd George Boulevard.
After receiving calls from home, the Windsor Fire and Rescue Services arrived just after 7:30 p.m. to “heavy fire conditions.”
Firefighters brought the blaze under control by 9:30 p.m. Investigators discovered the cause of accident. It was related to oil in a pan igniting. The fire displaced three people and a dog. However, there were no injuries but damage is estimated at $300,000.
